Biography
Roger Belair joined Dumas in mid 2012 as Director of Health, Safety and Environment to progress the company’s safety programs and culture. He is responsible for providing strategic direction, program design and implementation, and oversight for the global health, safety and environment department. Mr. Belair works closely with regional safety managers at each operation to ensure that safety guidance is offered to employees, clients and stakeholders. He is a seasoned health and safety professional with more than 24 years of experience, and has held senior safety leadership roles at Atomic Energy of Canada and Rio Tinto Alcan. A Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP), he holds both the Fellowship in Risk Management (FRM) and Canadian Risk Manager (CRM) designations. In addition, Mr. Belair has several diplomas in safety leadership and risk management obtained from various Canadian institutions.
