Biography

Dr. Tao is an Associate Professor and Research Director in the Division of Occupational & Environmental Medicine at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine (JHSOM) with a joint appointment in Department of Epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (JHBSPH). At JHSOM, in Division of Occupational & Environmental Medicine, Dr. Tao is responsible for directing research in occupational medicine and worker compensation cost management. At JHBSPH, Dr. Tao’s is responsible for teaching, advising and performing research in occupational and environmental epidemiology. He is currently serving as an epidemiologist/biostatistician for “Cancer Epidemiologic Study on the Total Population of Shipyard Workers”, funded by US Navy.
